As you can see from the photos this entire house was renovated to suit the owners needs for a more modern look while maximizing efficiencies in energy consumption. Some highlights of this extensive job included in-floor heating with polished concrete floors throughout the house and glossy white kitchen cabinets. White decor throughout the house was chosen to show off the owners collections of art pieces and to enhance the outdoor views of the Grand River and nature that surrounds the house.

Natural dry-stack stone is featured on the inside and outside of the house. Glass railing inside and out is used to give a modern feel and to maximize the spectacular views.
On the outside, the original brick was removed and stucco and natural dry stack stone were installed. The entire back of the house was underpinned to allow a complete walkout basement. Many outside walls were opened up to incorporate sliding patio doors and more windows.

Many flush framed beams were install throughout the house to create an open sleek look with no bulkheads upstairs or down.
